Deliver Us From Evil
Deliver Us From Evil offers the gripping stories of two women caught up in the Holocaust.
Claire Soria describes how an elderly Christian couple in Belgium takes her into their home, gives her an assumed identity, and hides her from the Gestapo.
Asia Doliner also takes on an assumed identity, witnesses the Polish Ghetto uprising, and eventually is caught and shipped off to two concentration camps.
The film includes rare color footage smuggled out of the Warsaw Ghetto.
An audience of 10,000 attended the premiere at the Daytona Beach Jewish Heritage Festival in April, 2008.
The film has also screened at the Non-violence International Film Festival in Ontario, Canada and won the Audience Choice Award at the Daytona Beach Film Festival on the same weekend.
Demand for the film has been heavy since its release, and copies of the DVD are now in museums in Belgium, Germany, and Israel.
Deliver Us From Evil also aired on national television in Israel with Hebrew subtitles in May, 2008, and won a prestigious Crystal Reel Award from the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association in August, 2008.
