IN BLUE HERON ANIMAL DOCUMENTARY
I love animals. They are my passion, perhaps because they love us unconditionally, and -- unlike people -- they don't judge us.

"I am thrilled beyond belief to have Beverly in this documentary," said Lester.
"She is a beautiful role model for both young and old. Beverly has to be the most loving and caring pet owner you could possibly imagine."
Howard, one of Beverly's long-time family members. Howard's love and companionship are sorely missed.
"Beverly's love of animals stretches throughout her life, extends to both cats and dogs, and is unconditional during both the best of times and the worst of times," said Executive Producer Richard Lester.
Tucker is Beverly's newest family member. When the affectionate 17 year old cat needed a new mom, Beverly opened her heart and welcomed Tucker into her home. Tucker is now in his twenties, and enjoying the good life with his new caring and loving Mom.
"Beverly is a true angel to the animals," said Gary Lester.
"When Walt Disney chose to cast Beverly as Lisbeth, one of the stars of Old Yeller, he could not have picked a more perfect child actress."
"Being the animal lover that I am, I really wanted the part," said Beverly. "I feel very fortunate because there were several Mouseketeers who could have gotten the part just as easily as I did."
None of the Mouseketeers could match Beverly's film credits with such stars as Bing Crosby, Jane Wyman, Jimmy Stewart, and Kirk Douglas.

Plus, none of the Mouseketeers could come close to matching Beverly's film credits in such western movies as Shane with Alan Ladd, and The Lone Ranger with Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels.
"Beverly worked with all of the big directors in Hollywood: Cecil B. DeMille, George Stevens, Stanley Kramer, Frank Capra and Ted V. Mikels," said Gary Lester.
"And she was absolutely delightful in Astro-Zombies M4: Invaders From Cyberspace."
Lester worked as assistant director on that production.
Tony Dow agrees with Gary. "She is one of the sweetest persons I know," said Dow.
Dow recalls working with Beverly on Leave It To Beaver, and also watching her pop up on television in such classic shows as Dragnet, Wagon Train, The Texan, Hollywood Palace, and as a co-star of The New Loretta Young Show.
"And for our sci-fi fans," said Gary Lester, "she played Lt. Arlene Galway on Star Trek."
"Beverly appeared in just about every television production you can imagine. She was television's first child star."
Now Beverly's fans can look forward to seeing her in Our Forever Friends.
